Description

Sheet Metal production engineer is responsible for the planning and execution of a product throughout the product cycle, including gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, defining the product vision and working closely with members of staff and sales executive to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction are met.

Experience:

  • 4 - 9 year experience with production knowledge in Light & Heavy sheet metal fabrication preferred.
  • 4- 9 years of CNC Programming & Bending, Welding, Tool Designing.
  • Experience in engineering new product.

  • Process Sequences should be prepared for all the projects.
  • Technical Clarification.
  • Development of new projects as per the company needs.
  • Trouble shooting
  • Ability to follow direction and safety rules.
  • Ability to extract work from Bending Operators , Servicing knowledge in CNC Bending machine, Welding Sets.
  • Adheres to work schedule and follows through with all sales target.
  • Internal Audit.
  • Should take utter responsibility in production process of the company.
  • Extensive knowledge in Pickling & Passivation.

Responsibilities/ Duties:

  • Competency to advise on the feasibility of manufacturing the product by verifying the diagram of the products.
  • Ensuring to send the details on project materials & outsourcing jobs to purchase & quality department.
  • Process Sequence for the manufacturing product should be produced in collaboration with quality department.
  • Details on the number of labours, machinery usage involved & labour work hours required for manufacturing of a product should be informed to the sales personnel.
  • Administration of bending, welding, fitters & helper personnels to acquire effective work.
  • Monitoring the behaviour of the labours effectively with no compromise.
  • Expertise in recruitment of bending operators , welders & fitters.
  • Notifying the sales personnel on the requirements and potential for further projects/orders.
  • Maintenance of machinery & power tools.
  • Along with Design, Qc & Purchase departments the diagrams should always be held confidential at all times.
