Making scheduled checks on machinery and its parts
Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders.
Oiling and cleaning machinery and its parts.
Responding immediately to machinery breakdowns.
Maintain all machinery for mechanical problems, which involve longer hours in the event of a machine breakdown & Dealing with emergency and unplanned problems and repairs.
Ensure minimum order quantity of stock of spares which depreciates frequently for various machines and tools used.
Overhauling and replacing worn out parts on regular schedule basis.
Installing new machines and relocating old machines.
Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.
Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.
Evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes.
