bstract:In-building solutions (IBS) is a telecommunications solution which is used to extend and distribute the cellular signal of mobile operators within a building with highquality mobile communication for the indoor environments such as offices, shopping malls, hospitals and airports. Distributed antenna system (DAS) is a system of antennas in which all antenna points should operate roughly at the same power level and have the same loss-noise figure on the uplink to the serving base station. A fractal antenna is an antenna that uses a fractal self-similar design to maximize the length or increment the edge. In this paper a novel model is proposed for IBS using fractal array technique in DAS. Simulation results evaluate the performance of the proposal technique outperforms the tradition beamforming techniques. The performance is investigated by measuring the array factor (AF) on the purpose system to the angles in the desired direction
