Guide interested clients to apply for loans Actively solicits microfinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer. Analyzes overall loan applicant's qualifications to determine the feasibility of granting loans. Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans Communicate with clients either to request or to provide information Coordinates with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients. Reviews and updates customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking. Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services Maintain and update account records Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans Develop referral networks Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines Correspond with applicants via phone, email and in person to collect and analyse loan information that facilitates the risk assessment process and provides underwriting support Maintain accurate, up-to-date records within underwriting software programs by verifying all documents for accuracy and completion in order to provide sound policy recommendations to prospective and existing customers Recover all loans Adhere to monitoring and evaluation procedures and guidelines and create reports on a monthly basis Initiates credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts. Ensures adherence to the bank's policies and procedures. Executes sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets. Attends to inquiries and other requirements of the clients. Secures information regarding competitor's practices, market trends and customer needs.
