Correspond with applicants via phone, email and in person to collect and analyze insurance information that facilitates the risk assessment process and provides underwriting support
Document and communicate policy approvals or rejections to the underwriting team, insurance agents, supervisors, and clients in a timely manner
Compile data and analytics for reports that can advise insurance policy guidelines and whether coverage should be provided
Serve as the liaison for underwriters and customers in order to track, manage, and prioritize insurance applications and other services
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records within underwriting software programs by verifying all documents for accuracy and completion in order to provide sound policy recommendations to prospective and existing customers
