Position  : Sales & Business Development Manager - Solar

Location : Chennai

Salary : 35000-/- to 40000 /- per month

 

Job description

Experience:

4-5 years of experience in Rooftop Solar and Ground Mounted Solar (Should have 2 yrs. of experience in solar sales, Site Visits, Sizing plant, load analysis, PPA, independent selling, and Closing projects)

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Support in research, data analytics, presentations pertaining to customers, trends in industry and market.

2. Identifies and proposes potential solar business by contacting prospects, and exploring opportunities. Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, evaluation options, and resolving internal priorities. Close new business

3. Arrange business meetings with prospective clients and promote the company's products/services

4. A keen planner, strategist & implementer with demonstrated abilities in devising marketing activities and accelerating business growth, Developing relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations for business development

5. Present sales, revenue & expenses reports, and realistic forecasts to the management team through BD MIS & analysis

6. Monitor target v/s achievement on a regular basis of all BD pipelines, part of review team of BD initiatives, track PPA auction, government auction, and a pipeline of new opportunities

7. Achieve growth & sales targets as per the budget

8. Connect with channel partners and ability to develop new ones, good presentation, and communications skills

9. Identify new clients by developing new sales strategy & business development for the region

10. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition

11. Proficient in MS Office

12. Maintain good relationships & retention of existing clients with smooth services
