Oversee the electrical and control systems for production systems and ensuring projects meet electrical and construction safety regulations.
Design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and procedures necessary to meet specific project requirements. Also to have exposure in troubleshooting and documenting complete control programs for custom automation equipment.
Programming of control systems using PLCs, PCs, servo drives, robots, and other more specialized controllers is a requirement.
Experience in systems/controls development and integration of factory automation equipment; thorough understanding of PLCs, robotics, control systems and machine operation is preferred.
A working knowledge of PCs and PC based applications, especially Microsoft Office, is essential.
Document and maintain existing systems, participate in the design and hazard analyses for new systems.
Collaborate with engineering teammates, production and other shareholders as needed and provide input into all decisions requiring Electrical Engineering expertise
Recommend and implement system improvements with the engineering and maintenance staff.
Communicate engineering information across teams and departments to facilitate successful completion of large-scale projects.
Ensures proper care, safety, and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
Complies with all CEIG/ environmental, and safety policies and procedures.
