Description

   At Electromotive Power Drives Pvt Ltd  manufacturing of customized electric motors in wide range of specification to various industrial sectors such as wind turbine, Textile machine manufactures, Elevators and Escalators, Fluid controls machines, auto machine and special machine manufacturing industry.

We’re looking for an experienced and versatile Motor Testing Engineer –Quality Assurance who’s eager to do this and more.

 The ideal candidate has well experience & strong exposure in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering in Motor manufacturing Industry as Test engineer.

Role: Motor Testing Engineer –Quality Assurance

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate shall be responsible for the Motor Testing and QA activity in the organization.
  • Plan and execute the Testing /Inspection activity in various stages such as Incoming, in process and Finals stages of manufacturing process.
  • Prepare the Inspection reports based on test observations in line with test standards, Customer specification and Inspection plan and procedures.
  • Generate the Non confirmatory report inapplicable cases and verify the corrective action and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with Internal department / customers on applicable time to extend technical related support /clarification raised by customer or colleagues.
  • Providing technical inputs to internal department and advice on projects as required achieving high quality standards.
  • Contribute to improving Quality processes by adopting latest technics /inspection methods through continuous improvements.
  • Responsible to analysis the Internal and external quality complaints and initiate the action with Cross Functional team through 8D problem solving approach.
  • Monitor and maintain the calibration process of all gauges /Instruments
  • Train the operators for critical operations & processes or when required.
  • Responsible to implement, maintain and monitor all QMS related procedures /Policies /documents issued time to time.
  • Responsible to maintain and improve the system practices such as 5S , Lean manufacturing  throughout the production.

Prepare and submission of Production (KPI) Key Performance Indicators defined in organization on every month

Additional Skills


 A diploma /Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical engineering.  Experience: 1-3 Testing /QA engineer in motor manufacturing industry is preferable.  Sound knowledge on IEC 60034 & IS 12615:2018 Routine and Type test preferable.  Practical knowledge on Doer and Jabbals Software / testing preferable.  Proven knowledge on Motors, Special drives assembly line.  Strong ability to focus on Quality Assurance concept’s  Knowledge on 8D Problem solving approach ,5S ,PPAP,MSA,SPC and 7QC Tools  Strong analytical, communication, time-management and creativity skills  Exposure in ISO related documentation/Practice.
