• Greet customers when they walk through the door
• Ask customers what they are looking for and show them at least three or four models
• Build rapport through conversation and honest recommendations
• Ring up sales and arrange for delivery or pick-up of the customer’s order
• Upsell extra items when appropriate, such as mattress covers and bed frames
• Invite customers to search our website for coupons and other ways to save money
• Inform customers of delivery charge and make sure they know we’ll haul away old mattresses
