Job Title: Mechanical Engineer cum AutoCAD Designer

Position Overview:

As a Mechanical Engineer cum AutoCAD Designer, you will play a pivotal role in our design and engineering projects. Your expertise in mechanical systems, AutoCAD, and field engineering will contribute to the successful execution of our projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Mechanical Design and Engineering:

    • Develop detailed mechanical designs, including 2D and 3D models, using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and analyze design proposals.

  2. AutoCAD Proficiency:

    • Create accurate technical drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD.
    • Translate conceptual designs into detailed construction drawings.
    • Maintain an organized library of CAD files and documentation.

  3. Field Engineering:

    • Be prepared to work in the field as needed.
    • Oversee installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
    • Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel.

  4. Project Coordination:

    • Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural and structural components.
    • Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and other team members.
    • Participate in project meetings and provide technical insights.

  5. Quality Assurance:

    • Conduct quality checks on design deliverables.
    • Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.

Qualifications:

  • B.E / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (minimum 5 years of experience).
  • Familiarity with other design software (e.g., Solidworks, Rhino) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in the field when required.
