Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented 2D AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating conceptual designs into accurate and detailed technical drawings. The Draughtsman will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce high-quality drawings that adhere to industry standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Drafting and Design:

    • Create precise 2D drawings using AutoCAD based on sketches, specifications, and design information.
    • Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to produce detailed plans, elevations, sections, and details.

  2. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
    • Participate in design reviews and provide input to enhance the quality of drawings.

  3. Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and project specifications.
    • Review and verify the accuracy of drawings to minimize errors and revisions.

  4. Documentation:

    • Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files, ensuring proper version control.
    • Prepare and update drawing registers, material lists, and other project documentation as required.

  5. Communication:

    • Effectively communicate with project stakeholders to clarify design details and resolve potential issues.
    • Provide timely updates on the progress of drawing tasks and address feedback.
