Description

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. The Production Supervisor will lead a team of production workers, monitor processes, and implement improvements to enhance productivity and meet production goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership:

    • Supervise and lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, support, and direction.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team morale and performance.

  2. Production Oversight:

    • Monitor daily production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
    • Coordinate with planning and logistics teams to optimize production efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.

  3. Quality Control:

    • Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure products meet specifications.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues promptly.

  4. Safety Compliance:

    • Enforce and promote a strong safety culture within the production facility.
    • Conduct safety briefings, training sessions, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

  5. Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and enhancements.

  6. Performance Monitoring:

    • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess production performance.
    • Implement corrective actions to address deviations from production targets.

  7. Training and Development:

    • Provide training to new employees and ongoing skill development for existing team members.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and address training needs.

  8. Inventory Management:

    • Collaborate with inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels.
    • Ensure accurate record-keeping of materials and finished goods.

  9. Communication:

    • Facilitate communication between shifts and departments to ensure seamless production handovers.
    • Act as a liaison between production teams and management.
