Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our growing team. As a Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and validation. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality software and has a keen eye for identifying potential issues and improvements.

Responsibilities

1. Test Planning and Design:

   - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans based on project specifications.

   - Collaborate with the development team to create detailed test cases and scenarios.

2. Manual and Automated Testing:

   - Conduct manual testing of software applications to identify bugs, defects, and performance issues.

   - Implement and maintain automated testing processes to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance testing efficiency.

3. Defect Identification and Reporting:

   - Document and track software defects, ensuring timely communication with the development team.

   - Verify bug fixes and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.

4. Regression and Performance Testing:

   - Perform regression testing to ensure that new features do not adversely impact existing functionalities.

   - Conduct performance testing to identify and address bottlenecks and potential performance issues.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

   - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts.

   - Communicate effectively about testing progress, issues, and overall software quality.

6. Continuous Learning:

   - Stay informed about industry trends, testing methodologies, and emerging tools.

   - Actively contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Software Tester or in a similar role.

- Strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.

- Experience with both manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
