Job Summary: Candidate must be capable of ensuring quality through rigorous inspections, implementation of quality control measures. They will work independently and will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams and address quality issues.

Job location: Chennai
Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of products to verify conformance with specifications and deliverables
Investigate product complaints and reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements
Develop/update Quality Management System in collaboration with internal teams
Monitor the entire production cycle and perform regular tests to identify potential malfunctions as early as possible
Identify process issues and prepare reports on corrective actions
Track and inspect incoming and outgoing material
Follow the checklist for preparing incoming Inspection report
Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors to ensure legal compliance
Set and track quality assurance goals
Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree/ diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant field
Fresher or relevant experience with strong conceptual knowledge in Quality Management.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong attention to detail
Good organization skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks and obtain results working within strict time frames
Proficient in MS Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to read and interpret assembly and component drawings and engineering specifications
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience as Quality Assurance Engineer
Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, CQE (certified quality engineer), or CQA (certified quality auditor)
Experience in implementation of QMS for ISO 9001 certification
