Job Description:

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Compression Moulding Machine Operator to join our production team. The Compression Moulding Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining compression moulding machines to produce high-quality rubber products efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Machine Setup: Set up and prepare compression moulding machines for production according to job specifications, including adjusting machine settings, installing moulds, and loading raw materials.
2. Operation: Operate compression moulding machines to produce rubber products, monitor machine operations, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure product quality and process efficiency.
3. Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of products for defects and deviations from specifications during the production process, and take corrective action as needed to maintain quality standards.
4. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery and handling materials, and maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
5. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on compression moulding machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
6. Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues and malfunctions with compression moulding machines, and collaborate with maintenance technicians to resolve problems quickly and effectively.
7. Production Documentation: Accurately record production data, including machine settings, production quantities, and any quality or maintenance issues, using appropriate documentation systems.
8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the production team, including supervisors, quality control inspectors, and material handlers, to coordinate workflow and achieve production targets.
