Description

  • Bio-Security: The LS is responsible for checking the Bio security norms of the farm before placing the chicks and ensuring all the farms where birds are being placed are as per the standards set by the bio-security norms. Any lapse in bio-security norms in a farm should be immediately brought to the attention of the branch manager and BDM. (LS has to ensure that disinfectant is used in front of LS only and upload the photo in BTP in same time)

 

  • Farmer Training on BTP- LS has to ensure that before placement farmers are trained and are ready to use the BTP Application.

 

  • Checking of Brooding Equipment: Additionally, the LS should ensure proper functioning of brooding equipment like corrugated paper, hygrothermometer, Gas Brooder and Bukhari is mandatory etc.

 

Checking of Farm Equipment: The LS should ensure all the farm equipment is in place and working in order. The equipment includes verifying the working of drinkers, feeder, water tank, fans and shed equipment like shovels, spades, sprayers, flame gun, lighting arrangements, etc
