Position: Technician
Position Overview:
We are a leading rental company that provides appliances on a rental basis to customers. We
are seeking skilled and dedicated Appliance Technicians to join our team. As an Appliance
Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, installing, and maintaining appliances at
customer locations. Your expertise and professionalism will ensure that our customers receive
top-notch service and have fully functional appliances.
Responsibilities:
● Conduct thorough examinations of company-owned appliances at customer locations to
identify the cause of breakdowns and malfunctions.
● Perform maintenance work on company-owned appliances at customer locations to
ensure optimal performance and longevity.
● Provide accurate estimates to customers/companies regarding the cost of repairing
damaged or malfunctioning appliances based on guidelines.
● Repair or replace defective or damaged components of appliances with the approval
based on guidelines.
● Educate customers on the correct usage and maintenance of appliances to prevent
future issues.
● Install various appliances, such as washing machines, AC, refrigerators & water
purifiers.
● Maintain an accurate record of all items and parts used for repairs, replacements, and
maintenance of appliances.
● Need to coordinate for different tasks & update on task status to Logistic coordinators in
a timely manner.
Requirements:
● High school diploma or GED.
● National Appliance Service Technician Certification (NASTeC) is advantageous.
● Proven experience in repairing, installing, and maintaining home appliances.
● Proficiency in using various hand tools required for appliance repair and installation.
● Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as necessary.
● Ability to achieve daily targets in a timely manner.
● Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve appliance issues efficiently.
● Effective communication skills to interact with customers and explain repair processes
clearly.
● Exceptional customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the
service experience.
