Minimum 1 year experience in milk / dairy sector , Preferably working in Milk Chilling Center.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent is responsible for conducting microbiological tests following Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs):
· Timely analysis of microbiological parameters like SPC (Standard Plate Count), Coliform, etc.
· Collect swabs from machines to test cleaning efficiency
· Monitor processing parameters according to SOPs
· Swab for Cleaning-in-Place (CIP), Solo, sanitizers, and other parameters as specified in the SOP
· Check product quality against specifications and report deviations to the Manager-QA for further action
· Check the quality of purchased materials against specifications and report deviations to the Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) and Purchasing department
· Maintain guidelines for plant hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation practices
· Provide proper training and ensure the implementation of SOPs for all lab assistants
· Update products based on market requirements
· Continuously seek ways to improve and refine quality standards/practices
· Recommend cost-effective methods for producing the required quality product
· Receive complaints, investigate root causes, and prevent recurrence
· Ensure timely completion of correct test results and their distribution
· Conduct internal HACCP audits and communicate audit non-conformities to relevant personnel
· Periodically upgrade lab facilities to meet product requirements
· Ensure proper documentation following ISO norms and maintain traceability
· List equipment and its calibration status, including the next due date
· Send Data Quality Reports (DQRs)
· Maintain error-proof quality reports in the department
· Provide any special or investigative reports to enhance quality
· Conduct timely deviation analysis for necessary corrections
