Description

We are seeking an experienced Spray Painter Executive to join our bicycle manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in spray painting, with a focus on high-quality finishes for bicycle frames and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, precision, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spray Painting:

    • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to bicycle frames and components using spray guns and other equipment.
    • Ensure uniform application of paint and coatings, achieving the desired color and finish as per specifications.
    • Maintain and operate spray painting equipment, including spray booths, compressors, and paint mixers.

  • Surface Preparation:

    • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
    • Conduct pre-paint inspections to identify and address any surface defects or imperfections.

  • Quality Control:

    • Inspect painted surfaces for quality and consistency, making necessary adjustments to ensure the highest standards are met.
    • Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed to correct any defects or imperfections.

  • Safety and Compliance:

    • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Keep work areas clean and organized to prevent accidents and ensure efficient operations.

  • Maintenance:

    • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of spray painting equipment and work areas.
    • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in spray painting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proficient in the use of spray guns, paint mixers, and other related equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes.
  • Knowledge of different types of paints, varnishes, and coatings.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices related to spray painting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
