Job Title: Lift Worker (Fresher)
Job Summary:
A Lift Worker is responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of lift systems under the supervision of experienced technicians. This entry-level role is ideal for freshers who have recently completed their ITI Fitter qualification, with preference given to those with a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. The position provides hands-on experience and training in the lift industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Assistance in Installation**:
- Support senior technicians in the installation of new lift systems, including elevators and escalators.
- Assist in assembling and wiring electrical control systems and connecting power supplies.
2. **Routine Maintenance**:
- Aid in performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure lift systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Help in cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts for proper function.
3. **Repairs**:
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Learn to replace defective parts and make necessary adjustments.
4. **Inspections**:
- Participate in inspections and tests on lift systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Document any issues and report them to the supervisor.
6. **Safety and Compliance**:
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- **Education**:
- ITI Fitter qualification, preferably passed out in 2023.
- Preference for candidates with a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- **Skills**:
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
