Job Title: Production Planner & Supervisor

Location: Sholavaram

Job Type: Full-Time

Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and organized Production Officer & Planner to join our tight knitted team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficient workflow, and coordinating with various departments to meet production goals. The ideal candidate will have strong planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule production activities based on customer orders, production capacity, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality control departments to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines and production targets.
  • Analyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including materials usage, labor hours, and production yields.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime.
  • Train and supervise production staff to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as productivity, yield, and adherence to schedule.
  • Participate in production planning meetings and provide input on resource allocation and capacity planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred), Operations Management, or a related field .
  • Proven experience of 3-4 years in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS office and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
