Job Title: Design Engineer (Mechanical) & Quality Incharge

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer (Mechanical) & Quality Incharge to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for designing mechanical components and systems while also overseeing quality control processes to ensure products meet the highest standards of safety and performance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in mechanical design and a commitment to maintaining quality throughout the production process.

Responsibilities:

Design Engineer (Mechanical):

• Develop detailed designs for mechanical components and systems based on project requirements and specifications.
• Use CAD software (such as Cimatron,SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create 2D and 3D models and technical drawings.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to validate design concepts and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including manufacturing, procurement, and engineering) to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet cost targets.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical support to resolve design-related issues during development and production phases.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in mechanical design.

Quality Incharge:

• Establish and implement quality control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain quality inspection processes and protocols for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify defects, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to monitor performance trends and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Train and supervise  production personnel on quality standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and improve supplier performance.
• Manage customer feedback and complaints related to product quality, and lead investigations and corrective actions.
• Proper maintenance & documentation of all quality related documents.

Requirements:

Design Engineer (Mechanical):

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably in product development or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other design tools (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Quality Incharge:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Quality Management preferred.
• Proven experience in quality control or assurance roles within a manufacturing setting.
• Thorough understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, ASME,EJMA ).
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
