Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and assembling bicycle frames using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding techniques. This role requires precision, a strong eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on aluminum, steel, and other materials as required for the production of bicycle frames.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate welds and assemblies.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including selecting appropriate electrodes, maintaining equipment, and adjusting settings.
- Inspect welds for quality and ensure adherence to industry and company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting and implementing process enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in welding aluminum and steel, with the ability to work on thin gauge materials.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, metallurgy, and related principles.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with welding safety standards and practices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Certification in TIG welding is a plus.
