Description

A housekeeping supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of a housekeeping department,

  • Inventory: Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering new supplies 
  • Customer service: Responding to guest requests in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction 
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with industry standards and brand standards 
  • Staff management: Overseeing and training housekeeping staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks 
  • Cleaning standards: Ensuring that all areas of a facility are clean and well-maintained to high standards 
  • Cleaning procedures: Developing and implementing cleaning procedures and protocols 
  • Quality control: Conducting quality control checks to ensure work meets established standards
