Electrician – Jewellery Showroom (Madurai)
Location: Madurai, Tamil Nadu

Experience: 2+ years (preferably in commercial or retail settings)
Roles and Responsibilities:
Electrical Maintenance
Perform regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of all electrical systems including lighting, power circuits, and wiring.
Monitor and ensure uninterrupted power supply to sensitive equipment like CCTV, security systems, display lighting, etc.
Security System Support
Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, motion detectors, alarm systems, and other electronic security devices.
Coordinate with security service providers to ensure system integration and functionality.
Lighting & Display
Set up and maintain LED display lighting to highlight jewellery counters and showcases attractively and safely.
Ensure all display areas are properly illuminated, with attention to energy efficiency.
Emergency Support
Respond to electrical emergencies promptly to ensure customer and employee safety.
Maintain backup systems like UPS and generators for uninterrupted power supply.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all electrical installations comply with local regulations and safety standards (e.g., TNEB norms).
Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and service work.
Preventive Maintenance
Schedule and perform preventive maintenance to avoid electrical breakdowns.
Recommend upgrades or replacements of old or inefficient equipment.
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with showroom managers and other technicians for maintenance schedules.
Support during showroom events or renovations requiring electrical setup.
