Machine Assembly & Installation:
Fit and assemble components of machinery and equipment.
Use hand and power tools (drills, grinders, etc.) for fitting operations.
Mechanical Maintenance:
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines, conveyors, pumps, and mechanical systems.
Lubrication of mechanical parts and replacement of worn-out components.
Alignment & Fitting Work:
Align machine parts and conduct shaft alignment.
Marking, cutting, drilling, tapping, and grinding operations as needed.
Fabrication Support:
Assist in basic fabrication, welding, and structural fitting.
Read and interpret fabrication and machine drawings.
Dismantling & Reassembly:
Dismantle mechanical assemblies for repair or replacement.
Reassemble with proper alignment and torque settings.
Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems:
Basic maintenance of hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders, valves, and lines.
Tool Handling & Measurement:
Use of tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
Ensure dimensional accuracy as per drawings.
Support to Production:
Assist in machine setups, changeovers, and minor adjustments to reduce downtime.
Documentation:
Maintain logbooks for maintenance and spare usage records.
