Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints and electrical codes.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, identifying and troubleshooting issues.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that electrical systems are safe and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.
- Collaboration: Work with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and plumbers, to ensure that electrical systems are integrated with other building systems.
Essential Skills
- Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of electrical theory, codes, and regulations.
- Practical Skills: Ability to use hand and power tools, and to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Safety Awareness: Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
