Job Title: Plumber – Water & Wastewater Management (ITI / Diploma)
Department: Operations / Maintenance
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 1–3 Years (Freshers with relevant certification can apply)
Qualification: ITI or Diploma in Plumbing, Sanitary Engineering, or Mechanical

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Plumber with an ITI or Diploma background to support the operation and maintenance of water supply and wastewater treatment systems. The candidate will play a key role in installing, repairing, and maintaining pipelines, fittings, and infrastructure related to clean water distribution and sewage disposal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair piping systems for clean water supply and wastewater disposal.
  • Support the operation of water treatment plants and sewage treatment facilities.
  • Identify and resolve plumbing-related issues in water distribution and drainage systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance checks on pumps, valves, meters, and filters.
  • Read technical drawings and pipeline layouts to plan and execute installations or repairs.
  • Assist engineers and technicians in setting up and maintaining plumbing systems for treatment plants.
  • Ensure all plumbing work complies with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports of work completed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ITI or Diploma in Plumbing, Mechanical, or Sanitary Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of water treatment processes and sewage systems.
  • Familiarity with PVC, GI, CI, HDPE, and other pipe materials used in water management.
  • Ability to operate plumbing tools and machinery effectively.
  • Good knowledge of drainage systems, water meters, and pipeline connections.
  • Physically fit and willing to work on-field at various project locations.
  • Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in municipal or industrial water/wastewater projects.
  • Familiarity with SCADA-based plumbing systems (an added advantage).
  • Valid Plumber Certification from recognized body (if applicable).
