Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee Electrical and MEP design development for commercial, industrial, and residential projects
Review and approve all technical drawings, load schedules, schematics, and design reports
Coordinate across HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, and Electrical systems for integrated design solutions
Ensure design compliance with IS, NBC, IEC, NEC, and other international/local standards
Provide technical input during BOQ preparation, tendering, and vendor selection
Guide the design team and perform technical audits/reviews of deliverables
Collaborate with architects, structural consultants, and contractors for design coordination
Conduct technical discussions with clients, resolve design-related queries, and attend review meetings
Monitor emerging technologies, design trends, and implement best practices for system optimization
Mentor junior engineers and promote skill development within the team
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in Electrical System Design (HT/LT, DBs, Panel SLDs, Earthing, Lighting, etc.)
Solid knowledge of MEP codes, standards, energy conservation measures, and green building norms
Proficient in design tools like AutoCAD, MS Office
Excellent leadership, team management, and project coordination abilities
Effective communication and client-handling skills
Ability to multitask and manage priorities across various projects
