Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kal Master to join our kitchen team. The Kal Master will assist in leading the kitchen staff, ensuring the quality and consistency of food preparation, and maintaining hygiene standards. This role requires expertise in [Tandoor / Curry / South Indian / Other relevant cuisines] and the ability to train and guide junior kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook dishes as per restaurant standards and recipes.
Supervise and support kitchen staff during prep and service.
Ensure high food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and reduce food wastage.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
Assist in planning menus and specials, contributing new ideas.
Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
Handle kitchen equipment with care and report any malfunctions.
Maintain discipline and team spirit within the kitchen staff.
Report directly to the Head Chef and assist in administrative tasks.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Kal Master or in a senior kitchen role.

Ability to lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff.
Good communication and time-management skills.
