Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and creative fresher to join our team as a Carton Box Designer – Sample Maker. You will learn to create structural packaging designs and make physical samples of corrugated/carton boxes for customer approval. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about design and packaging to start their career in the packaging industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in designing carton and corrugated box structures using design software (training will be provided).
Learn to create dielines and layouts for box making.
Support in making physical samples using manual tools or sample cutting machines.
Work with the design and production team to understand real-world packaging requirements.
Maintain records of sample requests and customer approvals.
Learn basic quality checking methods for sample evaluation.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Packaging Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Printing, or any design-related course.
Basic knowledge of computers and design software (DraftSight, Solidworks,CorelDRAW, Illustrator, or CAD software is a plus).
Willingness to learn about corrugated materials, box styles, and packaging standards.
Attention to detail and interest in hands-on work.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred (Not Mandatory):
Any internship/project experience related to packaging or design.
Knowledge of materials like kraft paper, duplex board, or corrugated sheets.
Familiarity with box types like RSC, Die-cut, 5-ply, etc.
