
Job Title: Sewing Quality Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Sewing Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within the sewing department. This role ensures that all sewn products meet the company's quality standards and customer specifications. The Sewing Quality Supervisor monitors sewing operations, identifies quality issues, implements corrective actions, and trains staff to improve quality performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise quality inspectors and monitor quality control processes in the sewing line.
Conduct in-line and end-line quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Identify and analyze defects, root causes, and propose corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Work closely with the sewing supervisor to ensure quality is maintained throughout production.
Prepare and maintain daily quality reports and documentation.
Ensure proper use of quality tools (AQL, defect classification, etc.).
Train sewing operators and inspectors on quality standards and best practices.
Coordinate with the quality assurance, production, and finishing teams to resolve quality issues.
Participate in pre-production meetings and style reviews to understand quality requirements.
Conduct audits on random pieces to ensure product integrity.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Textile Technology, Garment Manufacturing, or a related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in sewing quality control in garment manufacturing.
Strong understanding of garment construction and quality standards.
Experience in handling various fabric types and garment styles.
Familiarity with inspection methods and tools (inline, endline, AQL, etc.).
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with international quality standards and buyer compliance.
Proficient in using MS Office (Excel, Word) for reporting.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools is a plus.
