Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
Perform welding tasks using SMAW, MIG, TIG, and gas welding techniques.
Set up welding equipment and select proper tools for each job.
Inspect materials and structures for quality and durability.
Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition.
Operate machinery such as grinders, cutters, and plasma torches.
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear.
Perform weld tests as required (e.g., X-ray, dye penetrant testing).
Work with a variety of metals including stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
