+ Will be responsible for overall quality of all processed fabrics/vinyl, including incoming RM inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection
+ Maintain master sample and specifications. Compare the production sample with the master sample before dispatch; in case of variation, an alert has to be raised.
+ Discrepancy in inward job work material received to be intimated to the concerned customer as well as the group immediately on completion of inward inspection. Discrepancy in terms of quantity or quality has to be brought to the customer’s attention before we take up the process by means of email. If they ask us to proceed with the discrepancy, we will need an email from them. If they confirm by WhatsApp, that WhatsApp message has to be sent to them by email as an attachment, and they should be informed that based on their confirmation, we are taking up the job work process. This is mandatory.
+ If the QC team decides to give allowance in material for defects, the group and sales team have to be informed well ahead. And the QC cannot decide on their own and provide allowance and dispatch goods.
+ Excess or shortage of quantity beyond 5% of the plan quantity has to be brought to the attention of the group and sales team prior to billing
+ Update K Central at all appropriate levels.
+ Responsible for coordinating with production, and whenever there is a demand, have to engage yourself during production process to achieve the desired quality
+ Coordinating and supporting Admin for closing job work stock on a monthly basis
+ Prepare, update, and maintain all documents pertaining to IATF and ISO certification. These document maintenances would always be online (and never audit-oriented, preparing them for audit).
+ Maintain lab equipment properly and keep it calibrated
+ Prepare and update daily quality department report along with QC department's Plan Vs Actuals report
The customer complaint register has to be maintained, and every QC issue raised has to be documented, a remedy has to be provided, and the complaint has to be closed. This document needs to be signed by the Director once the complaint is closed, or he should be alerted if the document is open for more than a week
+ Will have to attend customer complaints/visit them to witness the problem, provide a remedy, and report
