Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and prepare machines for daily operations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and job orders.
• Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and machine attachments.
• Conduct machine calibration and test runs to ensure setups meet specifications.
• Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and part accuracy.
• Inspect and measure finished products using precision instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Identify and correct minor machine faults or escalate complex issues to maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with company standards.
• Collaborate with operators and programmers to improve workflow and output.
• Maintain detailed documentation of setups and production data.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Setter in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
