Job Summary:
We are looking for a technically skilled and innovative NPD Manager with strong experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and system integration to lead our New Product Development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, engineering excellence, and managing cross-functional projects from concept to launch.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the complete product development cycle from idea generation to production handover.
Use AutoCAD and SolidWorks to review, support, and improve product designs and documentation.
Coordinate with design, engineering, manufacturing, and quality departments to ensure feasibility and manufacturability.
Develop and manage NPD project plans, timelines, cost estimates, and resource allocation.
Integrate product development with ERP systems and ensure documentation is aligned with system processes.
Implement design changes and drive improvements based on customer feedback and product performance.
Ensure products meet quality standards, compliance regulations, and customer expectations.
Maintain BOMs, drawings, and change management documentation in line with company systems.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in New Product Development in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks – ability to read, review, and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) and ERP systems.
Excellent project management, leadership, and team coordination skills.
Familiarity with system installation, basic IT troubleshooting, or integration between design tools and enterprise systems is a plus.
