*Job Summary:*
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Job Setter to set up and prepare machinery or tools for production runs. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and the ability to interpret technical drawings and production plans.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Set up and prepare machines (e.g., CNC, milling, turning, or injection molding machines) according to job orders.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, job cards, and specifications.
* Ensure proper installation of tools, dies, fixtures, and attachments.
* Conduct trial runs and make necessary adjustments to achieve required product quality and dimensions.
* Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues during production.
* Coordinate with the production supervisor and quality team to maintain smooth workflow.
* Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition and request maintenance when needed.
* Maintain safety, cleanliness, and discipline on the shop floor.
*Skills & Qualifications:*
* ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade.
* 1–3 years of experience as a Job Setter or similar role.
* Good knowledge of machine operations, tools, and setups.
* Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Basic knowledge of quality control and safety procedures.
