
Job Summary:
The Field Network Engineer (Fiber/RF) will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic and RF (Radio Frequency) network infrastructure for our ISP customers. This role involves both preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring high network uptime and excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Configuration
Install and configure fiber optic cables, RF cables, and related equipment at customer premises and network sites.
Set up and align RF devices, antennas, and associated hardware.
Conduct splicing, termination, and testing of fiber cables.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform preventive maintenance for network nodes, equipment, and links.
Diagnose and rectify fiber cuts, RF interference, or connectivity issues.
Work with NOC (Network Operations Center) for escalated issues.
Field Operations
Conduct site surveys for new connections and expansions.
Ensure proper documentation of installation and maintenance activities.
Follow safety protocols and company standards during field operations.
Coordination
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for timely task completion.
Update daily work reports to the technical manager.
