
Responsibilities
Installation:
Install and upgrade wiring, lighting, and control systems according to blueprints and electrical codes for new or remodeled outlets.
Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure continued functionality.
Repairs:
Troubleshoot and repair faults in wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools, and replace damaged components as needed.
Troubleshooting:
Use testing devices such as voltmeters and thermal scanners to identify and locate electrical problems and hazards.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of all electrical servicing, repairs, and materials used.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all state and local building regulations, as well as pharmacy-specific safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
Coordination:
Coordinate with contractors, pharmacy management, and other team members to complete projects on time.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical Knowledge:
Proficiency in reading blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams.
Tool Proficiency:
Skilled in using electrical and hand tools, including wire strippers, conduit benders, voltmeters, and cable testers.
Problem-Solving:
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues.
Safety Awareness:
Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations governing electrical work.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to work long shifts and perform physically demanding tasks, including working in tight spaces.
