Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Car Mechanic to join our Mechanic shop. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of four-wheeler vehicles, including petrol, diesel, and electric vehicles. The mechanic must be capable of working independently and delivering high-quality service with attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical and electrical issues in cars using diagnostic tools and manual inspection.
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake checks, tire rotations, and battery replacements.
Repair and replace vehicle parts including engines, transmissions, steering systems, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
Conduct test drives to ensure repairs are properly completed.
Maintain records of all repairs and services performed.
Advise customers on required repairs and provide cost estimates.
Keep the workshop area clean, organized, and safe.
Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a car mechanic.
Diploma or ITI in Automobile Engineering or a related field (preferred but not mandatory with solid experience).
Strong knowledge of petrol, diesel, and electric vehicle systems.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Valid driver’s license (preferred).
Preferred Skills (Optional)
Experience with luxury or high-end vehicles.
Knowledge of EV (Electric Vehicle) systems.
Fleet maintenance experience.
