Job Title: Quality Controller – Paint Manufacturing
Location: Karur
Department: Quality Control
Role Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished paint products by conducting routine tests, monitoring production, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Test raw materials, intermediates, and finished paints (viscosity, shade, gloss, drying, etc.).
Approve/reject batches based on set standards.
Maintain QC records, reports, and compliance with BIS/ISO.
Investigate quality issues and customer complaints; recommend corrective actions.
Support production/R&D for process improvements and trials.
Skills & Requirements:
Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Tech. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Paint Technology.
2–5 years’ experience in paint QC (or fresher with paint technology background).
Knowledge of paint testing methods & equipment (spectrophotometer, viscometer, gloss meter).
