Farm Innovation Intern / Agri Operations Trainee / Farm Planner / Crop Strategy Advisor Role: Agri-Operations & Commercialization Planner Location Thuvarankurichi, Trichy District, Tamil Nadu (on-site presence required). Phase 1 in 40 acres development. Role Type Option A: Internship (for final-year or recently graduated students) Option B: Farm Planner (for graduates with 1–2 years experience) Scope of Work 1. Tree Inventory & Yield Calendar Create a comprehensive list of all fruit, medicinal, and timber trees on the farm. Identify expected yield periods based on species, age, and local climate. Quantity and volume identification for 1-5 years 2. Growth Monitoring Plan Develop monthly growth tracking sheets for each tree type. Include parameters: height, canopy spread, flowering, fruiting, pest signs. Recommend digital tools (Excel, mobile apps) for easy tracking. 3. Manure & Fertilizer Plan Create organic and inorganic fertilizer schedules for each tree type. Include dosage, frequency, and seasonal adjustments. Suggest cost-effective options (e.g., farmyard manure, neem cake, vermicompost). 4. Sales Plan for Fruits & Produce Identify local and regional buyers, mandis, and online platforms. Recommend pricing strategy based on grade, season, and packaging. Develop a weekly sales calendar aligned with harvest cycles. 5. Water Feeding Plan Map irrigation zones and tree water needs. Recommend drip/sprinkler schedules based on soil type and season. Include water-saving techniques (mulching, rainwater harvesting).
