Key Responsibilities:
Review and process medical claims for accuracy and completeness.
Enter patient information, insurance details, and billing codes into the system.
Verify insurance coverage and eligibility.
Follow up with insurance companies for claim status and resolve denials or rejections.
Maintain and update patient billing records.
Coordinate with the medical coding and accounts team for clarification on billing details.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards (HIPAA).
Generate reports on claim status, billing errors, and reimbursement trends.
