Set up CNC machines with appropriate tools, fixtures, and programs.
Interpret and understand engineering drawings, job cards, and specifications.
Conduct first-off inspections and verify parts meet tolerances before production runs.
Adjust machine offsets and tool settings as required to maintain quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve setup issues or machine malfunctions.
Ensure machines are running optimally and production targets are met.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all health & safety procedures.
Collaborate with operators, programmers, and quality inspectors to improve processes.
Record setup times, production data, and any deviations from standard operations.
