
The CNC Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components according to engineering drawings and specifications. The role involves setting up machines, loading materials, monitoring operations, and ensuring that final products meet quality and safety standards
Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes, routers, grinders) according to production requirements.
Interpret and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Load raw materials and tooling, and verify machine settings before operation.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure compliance with specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure proper functioning.
Record production data and complete job documentation accurately.
Identify and report any mechanical issues or deviations from specifications.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and quality inspectors to resolve production issues.
