Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T to identify part specifications and tolerances.
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) when required.
Document and record inspection results accurately using inspection reports, check sheets, or digital systems.
Identify non-conforming parts, segregate rejects, and communicate issues promptly to operators and supervisors.
Support root cause analysis and assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Verify and calibrate inspection tools and equipment as per quality procedures.
Ensure all inspected components comply with ISO, AS9100, or other relevant quality standards.
Work closely with CNC operators and quality engineers to maintain production efficiency and minimize rework.
