Reporting To: QA Manager / Plant Head
Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Executive ensures that all products manufactured at Convenio Foods meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene. The role involves monitoring production processes, conducting quality checks, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with FSSAI and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and verify that all production activities comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP guidelines.
Conduct in-process and finished product inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
Maintain and review quality-related records and documentation (e.g., batch records, inspection reports, corrective action reports).
Support internal and external audits — FSSAI, ISO, customer, and third-party audits.
Supervise sampling and testing of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
Identify and address non-conformities, initiate corrective and preventive actions.
Train production and packaging staff on quality and hygiene practices.
Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
Coordinate with the production team to reduce wastage and quality complaints.
Assist in developing and updating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and quality checklists.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field.
0–2 years of experience in a food manufacturing company (freshers can also apply).
Knowledge of FSSAI regulations, HACCP, and ISO 22000 preferred.
