Job Title: VMC Operator (Intermediate Level)

Job Summary:
We are looking for skilled VMC Operators with intermediate-level expertise to operate and set up Vertical Machining Centers. The ideal candidates should be capable of interpreting engineering drawings, handling work-holding setups, and performing tool and work offsets using Fanuc and Siemens controllers.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set up VMC machines for daily production as per job requirements.
Interpret and understand engineering and manufacturing drawings.
Perform work-holding setup, component dialing, and ensure proper clamping.
Set and verify tool offsets, work offsets, and part alignment accurately.
Apply knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) for precision machining.
Monitor machine operation and ensure parts meet dimensional and surface finish requirements.
Identify and troubleshoot machining issues related to tools, offsets, or fixtures.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency within the work area.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets.
Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent.
2–4 years of experience in VMC operation (Fanuc and Siemens controllers).
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
Knowledge of machining parameters, tool selection, and measurement instruments.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
