Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Supervision: Manage, coordinate, and schedule the activities of CNC operators and machinists. This includes training new hires, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative, safe work environment.
  • Production Management: Oversee the daily production process, ensuring adherence to schedules, deadlines, and efficiency targets (OEE, cycle time reduction). This also involves monitoring production metrics and implementing corrective actions to mitigate inefficiencies.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on assistance with machine setup, operation, and programming issues. Troubleshoot mechanical failures, perform basic repairs, and coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
  • Quality Control: Monitor production quality and conduct regular inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers) to ensure all parts meet engineering specifications and quality standards (e.g., GD&T).
  • Programming & Process Optimization: Offer support in CNC programming (G-code and M-code), modifying programs as needed, and working with CAM programmers to optimize tool paths and processes. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement (Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma) to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Inventory & Resource Management: Manage tooling and raw material inventory, coordinate with suppliers for procurement, and optimize the allocation of resources and machine usage. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in CNC machining, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in CNC machining (mills, lathes, VMC, HMC), including machine setup, operation, and an understanding of cutting tools, feed rates, and speeds.
  • Programming Skills: Basic knowledge of CNC programming languages (G-code/M-code) and familiarity with CAD/CAM software 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Atleast 10 years of hands-on experience as a cnc supervisor experience inFANUC Control Machines.
 
⏱️Shift Time: Day (7.30AM TO 4.00PM SHIFT) & Night(6.30PM TO 3.00AM SHIFT)
✔️Working Hours: 8hrs-Shift + 2.5hrs (OT)
