CCTV Installation & In-House Service Technician
Job Summary
The CCTV Installation & In-House Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and servicing CCTV surveillance systems within the company’s premises and at client locations. The role ensures all security systems operate efficiently and comply with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Setup
Install CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, monitors, and related equipment
Run and terminate cables (LAN, coaxial, power) neatly and safely
Configure camera angles, recording settings, and network connections
Test systems to ensure proper functionality after installation
Maintenance & Service
Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of CCTV systems
Diagnose and repair faults in cameras, cabling, power supplies, and recorders
Replace or upgrade defective components when required
Maintain system uptime and reliability
In-House Support
Provide technical support for internal CCTV and security systems
Respond promptly to service requests and breakdowns
Maintain records of installations, services, and repairs
Coordinate with management regarding system improvements
Compliance & Safety
Follow company policies, safety standards, and installation procedures
Ensure installations meet legal and security compliance requirements
Keep tools and work areas clean and organized
Education & Experience
ITI / Diploma / Certificate in Electronics, Electrical, or IT (preferred)
1–3 years of experience in CCTV installation or service work (preferred)
Freshers with relevant training may be considered
